Bodies.The Exhibition: O expozitie itineranta celebra in care anatomia e ridicata la rang de arta.
Am vizitat duminica trecuta, in sfirsit, expozitia itineranta “Bodies”. Spun, in sfirsit, pentru ca incercarea mea de a o vedea anul trecut, in New York, a esuat din cauza timpului insuficient.
La Cleveland, expozitia va sta pina cel putin in octombrie, mi-au spus organizatorii, iar daca se vor gasi vizitatori destui, care sa o faca rentabila, va ramine pina in decembrie. Pretul e piperat, 22 de dolari, plus 5 dolari audio-guide-ul. Cu toate acestea, duminica, pe la 12 dimineata, multa lume – adulti si copii – venisera sa viziteze rezultatul acestui demers stiintific extraordinar initiat de anatomisti germani si chinezi, ce s-a dorit a fi un elogiu adus corpului uman.
“Bodies. The Exhibition” constituie practic o expozitie de cadavre umane. Stiu, suna macabru, poate. Niciodata nu am crezut ca o colectie de cadavre umane conservate poate arata atit de coplesitoare si poate fi atit de neinfricosatoare, atit de revelatoare, atit de frumoasa. Da, e chiar frumoasa. Este anatomie ridicata la rang de arta. O imbinare fericita si incredibila intre fiziologie, anatomie, arta si medicina. Citisem despre expozitie pe internet acum un an si am stat in cumpana daca sa ma incumet sa o vizitez. In cele din urma, curiozitatea a invins teama. Expozitiei ii sint dedicate numeroase articole pe internet, multe informatii sint neadevarate, o intreaga “mitologie” o invaluie. De exemplu, unele articole spun ca exponatele sint corpuri ale unor prizonieri chinezi, lucru ce mi-a fost infirmat de ghizii care se plimbau in halate albe in sali, spre a raspunde la intrebarile publicului si a oferi informatii suplimentare fata de cele de pe slide-uri.
Cert este ca sint corpuri ale unor foste persoane singure, ori abandonate. Ma intrebam, observindu-le de foarte aproape cine or fi fost, ce viata or fi avut, daca or fi fost fericiti si daca isi contempla de dincolo misiunea ce le-a fost data fara voia lor. O misiune nobila insa. Excelent conservate – par de-a dreptul ireale si nu iti stirnesc nici o repulsie, le-ai putea chiar atinge, daca acest lucru nu ar fi interzis prin afise – corpurile sint asezate in picioare, in pozitii sportive: barbat aruncind discobolul, baschetbalist pregatindu-se sa marcheze la cos sau un altul aruncind mingea de oina. Pozitiile au fost alese spre a le evidentia musculatura.
Expozitia are opt camere, fiecare dedicata unui capitol anatomic: sistemul osos, muscular, nervos, digestiv, fetusi, sistemul reproducator si urinar, circulator si The treated body – unde sint prezentate afectiuni ale principalelor organe interne si tehnici de tratare a lor. Pentru copii, vizitarea expozitiei inseamna o lectie de anatomie excelent documentata – iar slide-urile cu explicatii sint facute pentru ei intr-un limbaj mult mai accesibil si ludic. Pentru adulti, expozitia inseamna cunoastere, autocunoastere, dar si reflectie la conditia umana.

The very crux of your writing while appearing reasonable initially, did not sit well with me after some time. Somewhere within the paragraphs you actually were able to make me a believer unfortunately just for a short while. I still have a problem with your leaps in logic and you might do nicely to fill in those gaps. When you actually can accomplish that, I could definitely be impressed.

In the grand pattern of things you receive an A+ with regard to hard work. Where you misplaced me personally ended up being in all the facts.
